Engineering Internship (Software Development) Summer 2024

TechStars Summer Internship: 10-13 weeks from June through August 2024

Hours:  Full-time 40 hours per week

Location:  Hybrid, Denver

Compensation: $20 - $24 per hour

Summary

The Techstars Engineering Summer Internship provides aspiring software engineering students the opportunity to design, build and deliver features to end users while learning from an experienced team of developers at the largest pre-seed investor in the world. Interns will be assigned meaningful work that is tied directly to our strategic objectives.  Interns will integrate directly into the development team, receiving mentorship and support from senior developers and senior technical leads, all while gaining exposure to the investment ecosystem and delivering real features to users.

 Interns will work on key objectives with a focus on:

• Design, deploy, and maintain front end features that will be used by thousands of founders globally
• Design, test, and monitor back end implementations to support a stable, high quality build environment
• Support QA procedures, testing features for deployment

Qualifications and Skills

• Undergraduate junior or senior standing,  graduate student in computer science
• Strong academic performance 
• Bias for action, comfort with ambiguity and data-driven decision making approach
• Strong communication skills
• Proficiency with Google office suite
• Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with a variety of individuals and teams
• Fluency in English language
