We are hiring an Engineering Lead to work on a pivotal Federal program that is making a positive impact on millions of Americans' daily lives.
What you'll be doing:
Leading a team of great engineers and designers which includes being responsible for the planning executing and direction of the team. This role will require strong communication skills working in an Agile environment in-depth knowledge of APIs and understanding the business use case of the software being built.
What you’ll bring:

Strong experience with React and AWS; Rails experience preferred
-
5+ years experience in software development/web application development
-
2+ years experience leading multi-disciplinary teams of designers and developers
-
Ability to successfully breakdown technical items in discussions with the business users
-
Strong verbal and written communication skills directed at both technical and non-technical audiences
-
Capable of taking direction from senior leadership and translating into concrete next steps and actions

Comfortable handling multiple ongoing engagements and parallel work streams
Requirements:

Must be a US Citizen and able to work domestically

Must be able to attain low-level security clearance

Compensation:
At Oddball it’s important each employee is compensated competitively and fairly. In alignment with state legal requirements. A range for the included position is listed below. Be advised actual offer details are determined by job category job location and candidate skill level.
United States Wage Range: $100000 – $150000
