Reports To: Head of Technology
Salary Range: $100,000 - $115,000k
Responsibilities:
- Set clear and achievable goals for the team and provide ongoing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance to the team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development.
- Ensure that projects are delivered on time and meet the required quality standards.
- Recruit and hire top talent, building a strong and diverse team of software engineers.
- Mentor and develop software engineers, providing regular feedback and conducting performance reviews.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, representing the software engineering team and ensuring effective communication.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating their potential for implementation within the team.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment that encourages innovation and teamwork.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in software engineering, with a strong understanding of software engineering principles and practices.
- 3+ years of experience managing software engineers, including goal setting and mentorship.
- Proficiency in React.js, Gatsby.js, and Next.js, with hands-on development experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to navigate complex technical challenges.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
