Lead the Engineering team responsible for System Validation for different OEM, Honeywell Pro-Install and Consumer products. Oversee System Validation team. Review performance management of direct reports, including assisting in goal setting, quarterly reviews, and providing feedback and guidance with identified development actions. Recruit and develop an R&D Organization capable of achieving product development objectives and be responsible for hiring within the System Validation group. Be responsible for end-to-end system validation and product approval for release, as well as develop a deep understanding on system requirements - both functional and non-functional, usability requirements and agency compliance requirements. Oversee and optimize test cycles with test automation deployment to enable fast updates to market and allow addressing fields issues with fast response times, as well as engage appropriate test strategy to minimize field issues and continuously improve based on the feedback from the field. Be responsible for Test cycle time reduction by development of End-to-End System level Automation solution for new products. Actively contribute to review product specifications and provide design inputs from a testability perspective. Own and track the defined engineering metrics and drive continuous improvements to reduce cycle time, improve quality, maximize reuse and improve operational efficiency. Communicate the Site Identity and objectives and ensure understanding of how the teams' roles fit into the organization. Be responsible for on-time, quality delivery of products with a goal to minimize the field issues. Ensure process discipline and optimize the project tails by deep system understanding and early involvement in the project.

Education & Experience

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Ten (10) years of experience in Test Automation Lead, Test Automation Development or a combination thereof.

Special Requirements

Work experience to include: Ten (10) years of experience working with the Product development life cycle, specifically in Intrusion, Fire and Home Automation Systems. Eight (8) years of experience in the following: Leading engineering teams with experience in Verification and Validation of Home Automation System; Reviewing system requirements - both functional and non-functional, usability requirements and agency compliance requirements to assess product readiness for release; Design and development of End-to-End System level Test Automation using JAVA and selenium tools; RF, Zwave/Zigbee Technology: Protocol level understanding of RF Technology and System level testing experience for validating the Resideo proprietary communication protocol (Six); Recruiting and training new joiners with tools used for Automation and domain; Validation of Audio and Visual using third party APIs viz, Google APIs, Amazon APIs; JIRA, Contour, X-Ray tools usage for system level issues, metrics development and tracking. Any and all experience may be gained concurrently.
