Engineering Manager

Position Summary

The Engineering Manager will oversee all aspects of engineering projects with an emphasis on the expansion of platform capabilities, user experience, and alignment with business needs. We are looking for a leader who brings deep Engineering Management experience with a proven ability to understand the intersection of data, technology, and business operations to deliver a world-class product.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage development team of 6 software engineers responsible for key engineering projects. Work with other department heads to define and execute business strategy.
• Incorporate business goals as directed by executive management and drive governance that balances long-term growth, short-term opportunities, platform stability, and expansion of product capabilities. Manage day-to-day data and product lifestyle.
• Develop metrics and dashboards for monitoring data processing focusing on quality, speed, and accuracy.
• Manage career progression for team members to include hiring, performance reviews, salary decisions, mentoring and coaching.

Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related, and 1 year experience in job offered or 1 year as Software Engineer, or Bachelor of Science Degree in the same fields plus 5 years of post-baccalaureate progressive experience in field which includes 1 year in job offered or 1 year as Software Engineer, or any other qualifying combination of education, training, or experience.
