Your Role: Engineering Manager 

As an Engineering Manager at RXMG, you'll be at the forefront of our tech evolution. Here's what you can expect:

RXMG's Tech Stack:

• Code/Frameworks: PHP 8.1+, (Laravel Framework 8+), Golang, Python NodeJS (Vue/Nuxt)
• Infrastructure and DevOps: Ubuntu Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, AWS & Google Cloud, Sentry, Datadog.
• Databases: MySQL, Clickhouse, Redis, ElasticSearch, MongoDB, Redis.
• Version Control: GitHub & Gitlab
• Project Tracking and Roadmaps: JIRA, Monday, and smart sheets. AGILE Scrum (eXtreme Programming).
  

Qualifications That Stand Out

• Experience: 5+ years as an Engineering Manager, with essential experience managing mid-sized teams (10-15). 6+ years of engineering experience in a core technology such as PHP, python, Golang, NodeJS .
• Expert Knowledge: Resource management, performance tracking and resource planning, project planning, process implementation, systems architecture and design pattern, testing methodologies, and modular development.
• Nice-to-haves: ElasticSearch, InfluxDB, MongoDB, frontend frameworks (Bootstrap, Tailwind), diagram tools, SaaS software, high-performance applications, CI/CD deployment in GCP, Linux/Unix command line.

• Team Performance: Conduct quarterly 360 peer reviews and mid-year, yearly reviews for engineers.
• Onboarding: Build and manage the engineering onboarding process, developing artifacts for environment setup and knowledge base ramp-up.
• Team Growth and Leadership: Drive individual and team success through career guidance, skill development, and clear communication of objectives.
• Conflict Resolution and Team Dynamics: Facilitate conflict resolution, cultivate an agile team culture, and prioritize continuous product delivery.
• Transparency and Operational Insight: Enhance team efficiency by providing insightful reports on performance and contributing to talent acquisition.
• Inclusive Team Culture: Foster an inclusive environment where all voices are heard and capture engineering buy-in for the technical roadmap.
