Recurrency is building the automated enterprise. Our product is the world's first enterprise optimization system (EOS), a machine learning application that integrates with legacy enterprise resource planners (ERP) like SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or Epicor, and provides the user with the flows and recommendations on how to better buy, manage, price, and sell their inventory. Our customers are wholesalers and distributors, ranging from family-owned companies to the Fortune 500.
Despite being a multi-trillion dollar industry, wholesale distribution has a striking lack of software to support even basic operations, with most ERPs relying on decades-old architecture. Founded in Los Angeles and supporting a fully-remote team across the US, we are a well-funded Series A-stage startup, backed by some of the some of the most successful VCs in the world.
Our Engineering team is building the next generation of products and services that millions of ERP users rely on. At Recurrency, cross-functional teams are charged with building highly scalable APIs alongside responsive and performant web UIs, all interacting with a complex web of data. They execute on the core features of the Recurrency product vision, including the core Machine Learning modules that deliver incredible value to our customers. As an Engineering Manager, you’ll be tasked with growing, guiding, and motivating these teams to build powerful products that stand the test of time. As a fully remote and rapidly growing team, you'll play a key role in our ultimate success.
What You'll Do
Mentor and coach engineers and guide their growth within the organization through clear expectations and frequent feedback
Work with our amazing recruiting team to grow the team and inspire candidates with the Recurrency vision and culture
Collaborate with Product, Design, and Marketing stakeholders to ensure velocity and execution at a sustainable pace
Engage with a fast-growing engineering team to drive technical excellence goals like improving software quality and keeping technical debt low
Lead by example by building a diverse, engaged team with a collaborative and inclusive environment
Run people management activities for the engineering team, such as coaching, 1:1s, performance reviews, and new hire onboarding
What We're Looking For
Strong motivation to build empowered, excited, and productive engineering teams
Experience building large scale customer-facing web applications
A solid technical background that can help the team with evaluating solutions
Excellent communication skills and a history of working well with technical and non-technical stakeholders
5+ years of Full Stack, Front End, or Back End Engineering experience
3+ years of Leadership or Management experience

Recurrency is a fully-remote team, with team members located throughout the US. While it will never be a requirement, there is a high likelihood that we will eventually develop a bi-coastal office presence, centered around Los Angeles & NYC, for those who prefer in-person to remote work.
