About the Role
Manager of the Software Quality Division with responsibility for multiple teams that perform support excavator system/software functional validation, excavator electronics component validation, and/or development and implementation, for complex validation environment, component and test case script that relate to on-machine, HILS/SILS and the latest software validation technologies.
This role will lead the development of an environment to perform efficient and quality validation. As the leader and manager in this role you will be the advocate for team member advancement & development opportunities.
Job Duties

  • Manage the validations of the system and software of most products of the excavation division (EXD).
  • Ensure the quality and delivery timing of the system and software for the validation.
  • Create, plan, and execute MGPP directives of development and team growth in tactical and strategic form.
  • Manage issues resolution relative to production support and customer improvements.
  • Foster a positive team culture with individual focus on personal needs of each employee for continued professional growth.
  • Provide strategic guidance as a stakeholder in the development of new validation methods from internal/external partners to support future program needs.
  • Manage team to efficiently maintain project plans to release product, driving projects to completion on time and within budget.
  • Manage staffing, development, and performance management programs for the engineering team; motivate and develop project and team leaders.
  • Demonstrate and enhance diversity & inclusion, psychological safety culture to the team.


Top Candidates will have

  • Experience with managing, fostering, and maintaining positive internal and external relationships.
  • Superior skills of communication and collaboration in English and Japanese.
  • Leadership and team management skill.
  • Technical expertise of electric and electrical system, embedded software, software validation (HILS, SILS) and Continuous Integration/Continuous Development concept,
  • Knowledge and experience of New Product Introduction (NPI) and Annual Product Update (APU).
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience desired
