About the Role:

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead a team’s technical roadmap in alignment with business priorities and cross functional stakeholders. This candidate will manage a team of engineers and guide them in their career progression, while fostering a positive and collaborative culture.

This position is based out of Click’s headquarters in located in Tribeca, NYC, at the center of one of the fastest-growing digital health communities.

Responsibilities:

• Plans technical projects and helps prioritize those in collaboration with other teams.
• Owns the delivery of the team roadmap and milestones.
• Manages performance, career growth, recruiting, onboarding and training.
• Takes ownership of the team processes.
• Reviews technical architecture designs.
• Actively advocates for engineering excellence.
• Drives collaboration within their team and with other teams. Fosters and builds a positive team culture.
• Structure the team's operation models so that the team is engaged and efficient.
• Delegates tasks to engineers based on the individual strengths and growth aspirations.

Qualifications:

• Required: 5+ years of hands on experience in development on a variety of languages, platforms, frameworks, and technologies
• Required: 3+ years in a Senior Engineering role
• Required: 2+ years in an Engineering Manager role
• Required: Excellent organizational skills
• Required: Strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications: 

• Experience developing software with React.js, React Native, Node.js, AWS
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science
