About the Role:

Fubo is looking for exceptional Engineering Managers with a passion for crafting simple systems that solve complex problems. We are looking for folks to support our backend teams, and separately, our frontend teams. 

We are looking for Engineering Managers who care about code quality, uptime, performance, continuous integration and deployment, SOLID design principles, test-driven development, and agile (with a lowercase “a”) methodologies.

Fubo Engineering Managers have the following responsibilities:

• Architect, design, develop, test, maintain and improve software systems
• Collaborate with other engineers and members of the Fubo team (Product, Design, etc.) to determine priorities and best practices, and refine functional requirements
• Own the primary responsibility for the success and long-term vision of the team 
• Prioritize work for your team, ensuring on-time deliverables and high-quality software
• Provide hands-on technical management, guidance, and support including system/design/code review, and ultimately be responsible for the health and performance of the systems your team builds
• Partner closely with the Talent Acquisition team to help lead recruiting, interviewing, hiring decisions, onboarding, and mentoring of new engineers as required

All Fubo Engineering Managers must:

• Have 10+ years of experience in delivering working software
• Have 4+years of experience managing teams 
• Write clean, well-tested code
• Have a broad and deep knowledge of software engineering and computer science
• Be comfortable creating efficient algorithms to solve newly-encountered problems, then translating those solutions into clean code
• Preferred: a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Management Information Systems (MIS), Computer Information Systems (CIS) or related field or equivalent as determined by a professional credentials evaluation

Fubo’s minimum base salary for this role if hired in New York City is $190,000 per year; maximum base salary for this role is $235,000 per year. Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Fubo's equity plan, annual cash bonus plan, unlimited PTO, and a full range of medical benefits. Final offer amount will be at the company’s sole discretion and determined by multiple factors, including years and depth of experience and expertise, location and other business considerations.
