Primary Responsibilities

• Will lead a cross functional team of 6-8 engineers and technicians by identifying, prioritizing and executing initiatives in order to meet expected business goals.
• Will take overall direction from BU Leader. Will collaborate with department functional leaders to assure they have the right capabilities and capacities on their team to meet the expected goals.
• Is driven to deliver efficiency through the organization, processes and workforce through the projects and initiatives led by the engineering team. Can identify waste in the operation, teach others to do the same and prioritize activity to maximize impact.
• Must identify and prioritize drivers that are negatively affecting each area relative to performance metrics.
• Must coordinate cross functional resources to complete data analytics and determine root causes.
• Must coordinate cross functional resources to brainstorm solution options, determine the highest value-creating solution and to implement the solution.
• Must effectively prioritize business needs and coordinate team cross-functional resources to achieve site goals by completing initiatives that improve Safety, Quality and Delivery and Cost.
