Engineering Manager

This manager role will be responsible for managing our Visual Merchandising and Editorial Tooling team. Our visual merchandising team is responsible for delivering an experience that helps users connect to content they will love via relevant and high quality visuals. The Editorial Team owns the internal Pacman platform and app ecosystem that runs on top of it. This product is responsible for powering a set of internal tools that are critical for our editors across Music, Audiobooks, and Podcast to reach Spotify’s end customers and create Playlists that are at the heart of the editorial intelligence at Spotify. 

What You'll Do

• Provide servant leadership for the team that reports to you.
• Delivery of product improvements, features, migrations, and overall technical health.
• Cultivate a balanced and collaborative engineering culture and a diverse and inclusive team that reflects our customers and the industry.
• Collaborate with technical and product stakeholders to to define success metrics and roadmaps.
• Influence and support the development of the technical architecture of the team’s stack.
• Advocate for the increase knowledge of the Pacman platforms capabilities across the company.

• Are passionate about growing developing product spaces and the team that comes with it.
• Are empathetic towards customer pains and are capable of translating them into technical requirements.
• Are capable of managing stakeholders across multiple levels.

• We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! For this role, you can be within the EST time zone as long as we have a work location.

The United States base range for this position is $ 156,275 - $ 223,250, plus equity. The benefits available for this position include health insurance, six month paid parental leave, 401(k) retirement plan, monthly meal allowance, 23 paid days off, 13 paid flexible holidays. These ranges may be modified in the future.
