components, and systems for machine and plant engineering, mining, the automotive industry, and other important industries.
Our Auburn, IN location is seeking an Engineering Manager to join our team
to support vibration control products. In this role you will support the Operations team by identifying and eliminating root cause of process related inefficiency

Core Responsibilities • Taking an active role on the shop floor with Process and Control Engineers • Managing the strategic and tactical activities with process development and improvements on the floor• Works closely with Maintenance and Facilities groups to coordinate process improvement, provide training on new technologies/processes, and ensure resources are properly allocated and processes/procedures are adjusted accordingly• Responsibilities for reviewing and quoting all new jobs. Manage the creation of process flows (APQP), tooling requirements, BOM's, routing and setting standards for manufacturing processes and equipment• Responsibility for support to all process improvements to help achieve maximum profit with low labor costs• Steers capital, resources, and other investments to achieve plant priorities, goals, and long-term strategy• Supports Launch Team to produce product to specification which complies with customer delivery schedules• Supports BU strategic projects and CBS activities including time study activities as required• Adherence to policies and procedures established by Segment/BU• Adherence to Safety and other protocols• May, on occasion, be required to perform duties other than those specified in this description.

Job Requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Engineering Technology or Industrial Technology • 7 years of relevant professional experience• Willingness to spending time working on shop floor• Travel to other manufacturing facilities or customer locations when required• Prior experience within a manufacturing environment• Program management experience • Strong problem solving and decision-making skills• Exceptional communication skills to all levels of the organization• Ability to multi-task and possess strong prioritizing and delegation skills• Management and leadership skills experience with direct reports

Preferred Qualifications • A3 and/or KT problem solving certification• 5+ years' experience in automotive manufacturing• Experience with Quality and Environmental standards• Experience with Cost Estimating and/or Industrial Engineering
