About The Team:

Our User Data team empowers OneSignal customers with a Customer Data Platform that serves as a real-time system of record for user and audience data. It also provides timely and useful insights to our customers to understand and engage their users optimally.

As the Engineering Manager for that team you'll own significant projects directly impacting our platform's performance and features. Your expertise will shape the way businesses engage with their users.

What You'll Do:

• Work on large-scale foundational problems related to a real-time system of record for users and audience data

• Actively participate in Technical Spec reviews for your team providing valuable technical insights to improve our product continuously

• Build high-performing teams - enabling and empowering your direct reports paired with recruiting great new talent

• Set team strategy in partnership with product management counterparts & managing execution (eg planning sprints etc.)

• Coordinate with relevant platform-level teams to deliver on objectives and create longer-term strategies

• People management of engineers - including career growth performance management promotions and feedback

What You'll Bring:

• 2+ years of engineering management experience with significant experience as a software engineer

• Good technical sense with specific experience working on scalability issues

• Product sense and understanding of customer needs

• Experience owning a production product and working with a product manager and/or business partners to drive business impact

• Passion for fostering functioning teams and organizations

• A record of enhancing your reports and providing individuals with meaningful opportunities for growth

• Excitement for recruiting and a thoughtful approach to headcount planning

The New York and California base salary for this full-time position is between $200000 to $215000. Your exact starting salary is determined by a number of factors such as your experience skills and qualifications.
