We are a dynamic team of engineers that iterate on ideas and products for a growing company that is dedicated to building meaningful tech communities. You will be able to work with diverse technologies in engineering while helping our company grow.

• Work with senior engineers on architecture decisions, whether that be software or hardware.
• Manage a talented team of  engineers, handling one-on-ones, running sprint ceremonies, mentoring and career growth.
• Drive our hiring process to build an inclusive team of engineers that are focused on solving problems.
• Collaborate with our full product team to help define the scope of work that we can accomplish.
• Work closely with stakeholders and product management to ensure we're building the best products.
• Balance technical debt with new features, to scale the system in a stable and robust manner.
• Play a key role in the complete software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, coding, unit testing, debugging, and documentation.
• Work within our multi-technology stack including Go, C#, Vue and TypeScript to build services and applications; Drupal-based PHP platform with content; and Salesforce.
• Adapt to new technologies and processes in a growing engineering organization. Your inputs will always be valued in implementing improvements to our processes.
• Work closely with SRE and QA teams to ensure that infrastructure and development tasks meet quality criteria through test planning and executions, including build towards a reliable CI/CD pipeline.
• Be responsible for the overall planning, execution, and success of complex technical projects.
• Build platform features using existing architecture for short-term use-cases, as well architect core capabilities for scale that reduces technical debt, collaborate with multiple teams, and ensure a unified engineering and product framework.  
• Support other engineering teams shaping together our service-oriented architecture
• Maintain and upgrade parts of our legacy platform in Drupal.

• You have at least 7+ years of experience building reliable, maintainable, and scalable systems and products.
• You have 2+ years of leading teams with people management experience.
• You have programmed with modern frontend and backend languages. A small list of examples for such languages include Go, Python, C#, Java, PHP and TypeScript, VueJS, React.
• Familiarity with API design, DevOps concepts, AWS and cloud technologies, Docker.
• Solid understanding of agile processes (scrum, kanban).
• Experience with Jira, GitHub, continuous integration and deployment.
• Experience with Test Driven Development and Unit Test Frameworks.
• You enjoy mentoring and growing your team engineers. You are constantly looking for improvements. 
• You understand that communication and transparency are vital to being part of any functional team.

• Proven track record in hiring to build a team.
• Experience scaling technology systems from small to medium to large.
• Extensive integrations with a large set of external API providers
