Title: Engineering Manager, Browse

Location: US-Remote 

We are searching for an engineering leader to manage a cross-functional team responsible for the Browse experiences within our consumer applications. This team is responsible for building and scaling the Feeds that power the LTK shopper app experience. You will partner with Product, Design, and Data Science teams to surface content to our shoppers around the world. 

Key Responsibilities

• Continually align your team’s work, goals, and priorities with the company’s business objectives and deliver significant business value.
• Take an active role in hiring, goal setting, performance management, promotions, and retention strategies across your team.
• Act as the scrum master, ensuring proper backlog refinement and value delivery in every sprint.
• Drive productivity and execution of deliverables from ideation to production.
• Provide technical direction to your team, participate in code reviews, and drive architectural discussions.
• Participate in the on-call rotation with your team.
• Leading the longer term architectural vision and execution of LTK’s feed infrastructure.
• Communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing, with both your team and other groups.

Minimum Requirements

• At least 2 years managing a team of software engineers.
• Proven success as a senior level developer in at least one of mobile, web, or backend.
• Technical enough to challenge, mentor, and grow the talent of the developers on your team.
• Capable of communicating technical concepts and complexity to engineering and business leaders alike by tailoring your message to the audience.
• Demonstrate an understanding of distributed systems in a cloud environment (AWS preferred).
