Responsibilities:

• Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains departmental supervisory staff
• Creates an environment that nurtures both individual achievement and team excellence through use of team-based management, recognition systems and shared objectives
• Mentor team members in their career development
• Build and maintain collaboration within the team
• Work towards a cohesive application development strategy

Qualifications:

• Excellent written production code in a high level language
• Track record of solving business problems with applied technology
• Track record of building teams and growing team members
• Ability to collaborate effectively with business and technical partners
• Knowledge and understanding of development best practices
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, similar technical field of study, or equivalent practical experience
• Experience in Healthcare / HIPAA compliant environment a plus
• 2+ years of people management experience
• Experience with 3rd party product APIs and services
• Experience with CRMs/Salesforce, payment systems, a plus
