Engineering Manager, DevOps
Redwood City, CA
Salary Range- $248,768 USD
Poshmark, Inc., is hiring for the following role in Redwood City, CA: Engineering Manager, DevOps to lead and manage the global DevOps engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead DevOps engineering and maintain responsibility for building and executing strategy for efficient operation of daily activities, software development productivity, and continuous improvement for monitoring, automation, and tools development;
- Drive the strategic roadmap for the Tools and Infrastructure team;
- Work with Vendor partners to evaluate the tools for rapid development and delivery through robust continuous integration and deployment;
- Drive automation and process improvements to improve the efficiency as well as platform availability;
- Empower developers to be more self-reliant by building highly reliable and scalable tools and automation;
- Build highly scalable tools and automation;
- Work closely with product development, quality engineering, and data engineering teams to help deliver a quality product;
- Manage configuration deployment and deployment tools; and
- Partner with other teams to share tools, expertise, and create effective solutions.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
- Four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
- Position also requires four (4) years of experience in each of the following: Management of a team of software developers; Python, Ansible, Terraform, and Jenkins; Cloud technologies, such as GCP or AWS; Continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes; Middleware applications such as RabbitMQ, ElasticSearch, MongoDB, or Redis; and Docker.
