Codazen is looking for an exceptional Engineering Manager with professional experience and a passion for leading teams in delivering highly engaging global-scale consumer-facing websites, eCommerce sites, and web-based informational content. You will be expected to strongly partner with high-profile customers regarding technical strategy and will oversee and deeply engage with diverse agile teams responsible for efficiently delivering solutions with high value. Must be highly motivated and excited to work in a collaborative and cross-functional team, demonstrating an open mind and a propensity for developing strong relationships, and can easily adapt within a fast-paced and actively evolving environment. Role ResponsibilitiesÂ
- Lead engineering teams comprised of CMS web developers and content specialists responsible for the development of highly visible and impactful web-based experiences
- Own the holistic technical strategies and low-level execution of high-quality and cost-effective solutions that satisfy customer business requirements Â
- Ensure best of breed agile software development practices are adhered to while continuing to evolve with the industryÂ
- Develop exceptional engineers and future leaders by being engaged and committed to their personal and professional growthÂ
- Drive and influence company success from the success of your engineers and the value they bring to our clientsÂ
- Build high-performing teams both through active recruiting and diligent performance management
- Engender positive company culture through humility, collaboration, and a focus on continuous improvement
QualificationsÂ
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience leading and managing web content-centric teamsÂ
- Experience delivering global-scale, highly trafficked, high-profile websites (marketing, e-commerce, web portals & help centers)
- Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Firm understanding of DOM, SEO, and XML technologies
- Deep knowledge of CMS platforms (e.g. WordPress, Joomla, WooCommerce, Drupal, Wix, etc.)
- Ability to work with tools such as Figma, Chrome DevTools (e.g. Google lighthouse, Google analytics)
- Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills
- Experience with agile software development processes (e.g. Scrum)
- Some travel required (up to 20% within West Coast)Â
- This is a hybrid position, 4 days on-site, 1 day WFH; Monday through Friday based out of Irvine, CA.

- Experience with JIRA and Confluence, or similar systems
- Masters degree in Computer Science is a plusÂ
- Related certifications are a plus
