We're looking for an engineering manager who loves to learn, grow, and effectively bring new ideas to the team.

- Partner with other engineering and product leaders to build out the service ecosystem.
- Work with your team and peer groups across the entire Nike Global Technology organization to deliver an end-to-end integrated privacy and permissions platform.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering, Information Systems, or similar field or combination of relevant professional experience, education, and training
- 3 - 5 years solution development and technology experience
- 2+ years of experience managing teams running Restful APIs
- Strong understanding of the different parts of the software development lifecycle, from exploration, design to delivery to production
- Experience building distributed / cloud scalable, real time and high-performance data lake solutions (AWS preferred)
- Experience with highly scalable services platform running Consumer and Identity services is a plus.
- Effectively hired, mentored, retained, and grown engineering teams.
- Understanding of Agile principles and Scrum development process
- Experience Managing Offshore team members
- Significant experience writing software in Java, NodeJS and other technologies.
- Experience in AWS (Dynamo, EC2, ALB, Cloud Formation, etc.)
- Experience working with NoSQL data stores like DynamoDB, Cassandra, or MongoDB
- Demonstrated proficiency in architectural patterns of a large, high-scale web application (e.g., well-designed APIs, high volume data pipelines, efficient algorithms)
- Proven track record to produce high quality software that is unit tested, code reviewed, and checked in regularly for continuous integration.
- Ability to influence outcomes across highly aligned, loosely coupled teams
- Experience in building positive relationships across Product and Engineering
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
- Exposure to international and multicultural environments
- Practical approach to solving sophisticated problems with ambiguous requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills to effectively connect with both business and technical teams
Open to remote work, except cannot work in South Dakota, Vermont, and West Virginia. These candidates will be required to relocate. For employees based in Colorado, this position starts at $145,000 per year. Information about benefits can be found here .
