Engineering Manager, Marketplace

We are looking for an individual to lead our Marketplace Engineering team. As the Engineering Manager, Marketplace, you will define the next generation software platform for QuickFrame by MNTN, building a beautiful product for both brands and creators alike.

MNTN’s microservices handle hundreds of millions of requests per day, upon which a platform for real-time behavioral marketing is built to drive performance in cross-device advertising. We heavily utilize open-source technology and in-house solutions to meet the low latency demands of rapid response advertising.

What You’ll Do:

• Coordinate customer-facing changes across various technical and non-technical stakeholders, including other engineering teams and customer support teams
• Help establish timelines and priorities
• Manage, grow, and mentor a team of software engineers
• Hire, grow, and manage a diverse team
• Have an expert understanding of modern software development lifecycle using scalable Agile, including experience with CI/CD frameworks

What You’ll Bring:

• 4+ years of experience managing product-oriented engineering teams
• 4+ years of experience with UI technologies such as TypeScript, React, and Node.js
• 4+ years of experience with SQL and database concepts
• Experience with Next.js is a plus
• Experience working with UI/UX designers
• Experience with UNIX in navigation, debugging, data manipulation
• Experience with scripting languages
• Exceptional people skills – mentoring, guiding, scaling, delegating
• Excellent communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and multiple priorities
• Experience with SVN/GIT and how it relates to managing release cycles
• Experience with AGILE methodologies and ensuring sprint priorities are met
