Title: Engineering Manager, Product Discovery
Location: Fully remote from anywhere in the US
Reports to: VP of Software Engineering

About the role: We are searching for an engineering leader to manage a cross-functional squad responsible for the features and tools that enable our Creators with a seamless experience to find, organize, and publish commissionable links to their favorite products. 

Key Responsibilities

• Continually align your team’s work, goals, and priorities with the company’s business objectives and deliver significant business value.
• Take an active role in hiring, goal setting, performance management, promotions, and retention strategies across your team.
• Act as the scrum master, ensuring proper backlog refinement and value delivery in every sprint.
• Drive productivity and execution of deliverables from ideation to production.
• Provide technical direction to your team, participate in code reviews, and drive architectural discussions.
• Participate in the on-call rotation with your team.

Minimum Requirements

• 2+ years managing a team of software engineers.
• 2+ years leading a critical project, managing stakeholders.
• Proven success as a senior level developer in at least one of mobile, web, or backend.
• Technical enough to challenge, mentor, and grow the talent of the developers on your team.
• Capable of communicating technical concepts and complexity to engineering and business leaders alike by tailoring your message to the audience.
• Demonstrate an understanding of distributed systems in a cloud environment (AWS preferred).

Preferred Qualifications

• Familiar with product catalogs and have an understanding of the data quality issues in that space.
• Experience with scraping product data from the web.
