We're looking for a self-motivated ENGINEERING MANAGER, PRODUCT SECURITY to join our growing team in the UK, you'll be a member of the Global Platform Engineering group located across San Francisco, US, London and York in UK and Tel Aviv, Israel.

You’ll lead a backend engineering team of engineers building Anaplan’s Identity Management Platform and Access Management. Collaborating with product teams and architects to build and design our evolving IAM platform.


Your Impact

  • Advocate for best-practices in planning, building, delivering and maintaining software. Instilling a culture of TDD, CI/CD, observability, and maintainability and pro-actively preventing technical debt should be second nature to you.
  • Effectively build trust and get stuff done by being pragmatic
  • Engage in hiring and managing diverse teams
  • Demonstrate your passion for engineering and your proven track record of delivering great software
  • Coach and collaborate -you enjoy working closely with others, pairing and learning, and are comfortable showing off your work
  • Ability to drive product and program conversations to negotiate trade-offs between tactical and strategic goals

Preferred Skills

  • Professional experience as a hands-on software engineer, preferably in backend-focused roles, building microservices in Java.
  • Experienced people manager, with experience in helping grow and foster a team, coach and mentor team members in their career goals
  • Knowledge of authentication, authorisation, identity access management, and other concerns in the security space is a big plus
  • Ability to take ownership and full responsibility of the services / products you will deliver.
  • Active proponent of culture and enabling positive team dynamics in engineering
