Engineering Manager, Test Infrastructure

As an Engineering Manager you’ll thrive in our team if you love chasing impact working through ambiguity and developing a culture of innovation. In this role you’ll lead a team of 5-10 engineers leveraging your robust managerial toolbox to drive direct business and customer impact independently. You’ll work closely with your direct reports cross-functional partners and other teams to build the future of Dropbox. Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 5-10 engineers in identifying adopting and building solutions for improved testing experience across multiple platforms

• Monitor the performance and impact of adopted solutions gathering feedback and identifying areas for improvement

• Drive results by identifying impactful opportunities and ensuring long-term growth and customer impact

• Inspire your team with a clear direction fostering an environment where innovation flourishes and bold ideas are encouraged

Requirements

• Familiarity with software development methodologies web-based technologies and cloud-based platforms

• BS MS or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field involving coding (e.g. physics or mathematics) or equivalent technical experience

• Minimum of 3 years of people management experience with an engineering team

• Minimum of 5 year as a software engineer or equivalent technical experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Developer tools and testing

• Passion for solving developer productivity developer experience systems performance and scalability issues

• Experience working across timezones and matrix style management
