The Mission

We are seeking a talented Engineering Operations Coordinator to join our growing Cloud Engineering Operations. The right candidate is someone who is an excellent communicator, collaborative, and feels passionate about project management and process improvement.  Your mission will be to support the leadership of the fast growing Caylent engineering organization in managing a business including hundreds of cloud professionals and dozens of active client engagements. Your focus will include supporting strategic initiatives such as the development and maintenance of Standard Operating procedures as well as supporting the process and tracking of critical activities such as hiring, staffing, or escalation management.  As a support role member of the Engineering Leadership team, you will also assist in driving a continuous improvement culture including developing reporting to measure Practice goals and collaborate across the different Delivery Practices.  

Your Assignment

  • Work with engineering leadership to develop, implement and execute an approach towards monitoring and tracking adherence to Engineering Practice Standards
  • Partner with Finance and Operations to maintain reporting for visibility into key business metrics for first level managers, directors and executives in support of running the business
  • Project manage execution of strategic initiatives within the engineering organization
Your Qualifications
  • Self-starter able to drive for action and play a cross-functional leadership role
  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • Familiarity with google sheets and/or excel functionality
  • At least 2 years of work experience in services operations role
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills to ensure data accuracy and compliance
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work with staff and leadership across functional-departments to complete tasks
  • Ability to develop processes, templates and standards around engineering engagement management best practices

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the technical industry, preferably with infrastructure modernization, application development and/or data engineering disciplines
  • Knowledge of project management disciplines, methodologies and tools
  • Experience using Project and Agile Tools, such as JIRA, Confluence, Notion, etc.
