What Product Development contributes to Cardinal Health
Research is responsible for the development of new and improved products through initiating, designing, developing and executing research and product development projects.
Product Development is responsible for developing and commercializing new and improved products that meet or exceed customer requirements according to the established product development process and quality procedures.
Responsibilities
- Manages engineering staff and oversight of work, budgets, project management plans and workload forecasting.
- Assists with the Development, implementation, and oversight of the strategic and annual business plan development.
- Responsible for Quarterly Planning Process and prioritization and associated processes. Key contributor to Estimation and SLRP processes
Qualifications
- 8-12 years of experience preferred
- BA, BS or equivalent experience in related field preferred.
What is expected of you and others at this level
- Manages department operations and delivery for the Product and Platform teams at Sonexus
- This is not a supervisory role and you will not have direct reports
- Participates in the development of policies and procedures to achieve specific goals
- Ensures employees operate within guidelines
- Decisions have a short term and long term impact on work processes, outcomes and customers
- Interacts with subordinates, peers, customers, and suppliers at various management levels; may interact with senior management
- Interactions normally involve resolution of issues related to operations and/or projects
- Gains consensus from various parties involved
- Owns the execution and planning of delivery of product and platform components being developed by Engineering Teams and third party vendors
- Responsible for communication of Engineering status to Product and Business partners
