At Massive Rocket we're on a mission to design and build beautiful customer experience. And we're searching for a visionary Engineering Practice Lead to join our journey.

You'll be the driving force behind our engineering culture shaping not just our practices and tools but also the talent that propels us forward. Think of yourself as the conductor of our innovation orchestra leading a diverse and brilliant team of engineers to deliver exceptional results for our clients.

Responsibilities

In this role you'll wear multiple hats:

Visionary Leader: Set the strategic direction for our engineering organization fostering a culture of continuous learning collaboration and excellence.

Standard Bearer: Define and implement engineering standards and practices ensuring we leverage the best tools and methodologies for success.

Talent Whisperer: Attract and recruit top-tier engineering talent nurturing their growth and development within Massive Rocket.

Customer Champion: Collaborate with Client Partners to form high-performing customer-centric engineering teams that consistently exceed expectations.

Innovation Engine: Stay ahead of the curve in cloud technologies cloud-native development and data engineering driving continuous improvement across our tech stack.

Pre-Sales Pro: Support pre-sales activities scooping projects by providing realistic estimations timelines and budget details.

Experience

A veteran leader: 5+ years of experience as a Head of Engineering or Engineering Director leading and inspiring teams to achieve their full potential.

Hands-on experience: You've walked the walk with 5+ years in a hands-on engineering role like Solution Architect Software Engineer DevOps Engineer or Data Engineer.

Growth champion: You have a proven track record of successfully scaling and building high-performing engineering organizations.

Cloud native guru: You're an expert in cloud technologies (AWS Azure or GCP) fluent in their capabilities and best practices.

Data master : You’re an expert in data technologies (Cloud Data Warehouse and CDPs like Snowflake) fluent in their capabilities and best practices.

People first: You have a passion for developing and empowering individuals possessing strong people management and recruitment skills.

Communication king: You bridge the gap between technical and business needs fostering strong relationships with technology vendors and clients.

English royalty : you speak English like a native ( or at least at the C1 level)
