Job Description

Responsible for the creation and maintenance of engineering products within the ERP system. Work as part of a product design team which includes Design Engineers, Manufacturing Engineers, and other support departments.

The ideal candidate for a Engineering Project Coordinator would be able to do the following:

1. Responsible for creating and managing BOM matrixes related to all Alto-Shaam’s Products.
2. Manage TCM/Oracle (ERP) Configurator as assigned by management which includes:
   1. Entering and managing the certification information in TCM/Oracle (ERP).
   2. Managing the TCM/Oracle (ERP) Configurator with up-to-date BOMs changes.
   3. Support the training needs of individuals with all aspects of BOMs changes.
3. Create all new SKUs per Sales requests in the ERP.
4. Responsible for answering the support help desk email related to technical and documentation questions on BOMs, SKUs, and Configurator.
5. Support the resolution of engineering and manufacturing data discrepancies related to BOMs.
6. Total Cost of Ownership – As assigned, focus on product cost reduction activities in support of and defined by yearly cost metrics and targets.
7. Responsible for loading BOMs and SKUs for all NPD projects.
8. Provide BOM related support for Engineering, Procurement, and Production.
9. Manage changes to approved configurations using a systematic measurable change process.
10. Maintain bills of material (BOMs), delivering and maintaining the engineering technical data package (TDP)
11. Support configuration management
12. Review ECR content and structure for accuracy - including cost analysis, auditing BOM changes, and other required validation activities.
13. Ensure timely execution of ECR activities through a regular cadence of reviews and updates.
14. Customize the ERP system to align with Alto-Shaam's manufacturing workflows, optimizing efficiency.

Qualifications

For a candidate to be successful as a Engineering Project Coordinator they must have:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline OR an Associate's degree in a technical discipline with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience, or a High school diploma/GED with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
• Must understand manufacturing processes, routings, and equipment.
• Must have proficiency in BOM and engineering NPD process.
• Attention to detail required.
• It is essential to have skills to work with Microsoft Suite.
• Strong analytical, problem solving and team skills.
• Knowledge of ERP systems, experience with TCM/Oracle software preferred.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Experience using a database
