Job Description:
The main function of a project coordinator is to support the technical program manager and project teams on a project. The coordinator will be responsible for tracking and monitoring of project progress, maintaining processes to increase the team's efficiency, assisting in scheduling and logistical coordination, and facilitating communication and documentation.

Job Responsibilities:• Assist in monitoring team's progress towards project goals and milestones and coordinate with other teams when necessary.• Participate in meetings with project team members to determine progress of work and identify additional follow ups, blockers, and potential escalations required.• Provide general administrative support to research teams: including, but not limited to, monitoring calendars, setting up meetings, making travel and/or meeting arrangements, entering time and filing expense reports.• Compile reports concerning progress of work and downtime to distribute to personnel involved in the project as well as key project stakeholders.• Identify trends and relationships amongst managed projects and enable frequent and rapid communication across project portfolios.

Skills:• Possess basic level of Project Management skills.• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.• Written and verbal communication skills.• Interpersonal skills to be able to interface effectively with a broad range of contacts from technical staff to senior management.• Organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple concurrent activities and to work successfully under pressure.• Can deal with ambiguity and requests for change.

Education/Experience:• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience/education.• Experience within startup, tech, or research environments an asset
