What You'll Do
As an Engineering Project Manager, you will support exciting new initiatives and multi-product solutions through the entire program lifecycle as we deliver on our Security portfolio strategy. As part of the Project Management Office (PMO) in Cisco's Security Business Group (SBG), you'll influence a diverse set of partners with your positive relationship skills and dedication to driving good decisions. You will work with cross-functional teams consisting of product management, engineering, support and operations staff in an agile environment to define, build and launch new products and solutions into the marketplace. You will also support team communications and status reporting, content development (e.g. internal web sites and slide decks) work on a regular cadence.

SBG develops Cisco's firewall, intrusion prevention, remote access, identity, web and email security products. Our group works with Project and Program Managers to deliver enterprise software, virtual and physical platforms. We are working on next generation security technology to make cyberspace more secure for those that are connected! Our PMO drives major programs that deliver innovative, outstanding security products to our customers and carries out initiatives to propel the business forward. We are the glue that keeps our cross-functional program teams together. We make change reality! We mentor the broader organization on agile program management essentials and standard processes.

Who You Are
- Bachelor's degree in business and/or related technical field
- Superb communication and presentation skills (written and verbal) to management and team members
- Ability to develop process workflows and synthesize data to support planning frameworks and reporting
- Solid multi-functional, virtual leadership skills (coordinate work sessions, and progress/status meetings)
- Ability to prioritize and support multiple projects/timelines with minimal direction
- Effective time-management skills
- Proficient in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel
- Knowledge of tools like Box, Smartsheet, Jira, and any other tools that support virtual collaboration
- Project Management certification is a plus
