The Engineering Project Manager will join a growing team of Engineering and Health & Safety professionals helping our customers reduce their work-related risk to quality, productivity and employee health.
Description
Successful candidates will have the following attributes:
- Working knowledge of project management methodologies, such as: scope management, schedule development & integration, risk management, status & control planning, issue & action item management, cost management
- Experience in automotive manufacturing processes, assembly tooling and equipment
- Experience with Data Analytics, Data Science, Data Visualization, etc.
- Strong analytical, problem solving and organization skills as well as strong oral and written communication skills
- Expertise in tools/software such as: Excel, PowerBI, Angular, Qlikview, Tableau
- Ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization
- Detail oriented self-starter who works well as a part of a diverse team
Responsbilities
- Meet with client team members to:
- Review project portfolio
- Review outstanding tasks
- Review risks
- Review next steps
- Identify discrepancies in the client specific project tracking and reporting files and correct the discrepancies
- Documenting and maintaining program assumptions, risks, issues, and action items
- Leading the development, review and approval of program plans and schedules
- Work within client team to provide continuity of service
- Co-develop solutions as required
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, a related discipline, or equivalent work experience
- 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing, assembly operations
- Expert level user of Excel, including macros, visual basic coding
- Experience using analytics tools such as PowerBI, Angular, Qlikview, Tableau
- Well-versed in automotive manufacturing processes
- Must have capabilities to successfully work from home until COVID-19 protocols allow for a return to the designated worksite
- Must have reliable transportation
- Legally authorized for work in the United States
