  • Ability to prioritize while working on multiple tasks and projects.
  • Ability to manage complex spreadsheets and coordinate cross-functional teams and job functions.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.

As an Engineering Project Specialist (Program Manager) on the Hardware team, you will bring new hardware products from concept to production.

The Google Pixel team focuses on designing and delivering the world's most helpful mobile experience. The team works on shaping the future of Pixel devices and services through some of the most advanced designs, techniques, products, and experiences in consumer electronics. This includes bringing together the best of Google's artificial intelligence, software, and hardware to build global smartphones and create transformative experiences for users across the world.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $114,000-$167,000 bonus equity benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Responsibilities

  • Travel internationally to support hardware development builds. Manage product labeling and build documentations.
  • Manage new product introductions (NPI), track material readiness, guide paths and investigations, and product configurations.
  • Lead a weekly build readiness meeting with the contract manufacturing team and provide training on instructions of reading build matrix, allocation and shipment planning, and applicable build matrix database training.
  • Manage product allocation database, provide allocation direction, track system delivery schedules, ensure timely distribution to all product groups, and update device tracking tool.
  • Develop purchase order creation, communication with contract manufacturing finance teams, and conduct invoice reviews.
