Audinate leads the world in networked media with our "Dante" technology which is used extensively in professional audio & video applications, including live events, broadcast, entertainment venues and communication systems.

Dante replaces all audio and video connections with a computer network, effortlessly sending video or hundreds of channels of audio over slender Ethernet cables with perfect digital fidelity. Adopted by hundreds of manufacturers in thousands of products, Dante is the de facto standard for modern AV connectivity.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced engineering lead to help us build and manage a world class video development function in the Philippines. You'll align with the wider engineering department and ensure that your team has the necessary infrastructure to succeed. You will be a local leader, balancing long-term roadmaps and short-term priorities and will work closely with QA, Digital Services and Operations teams to ensure successful project completion in an Agile environment.

In the role you'll be managing a team of engineers delivering video technology solutions in a cross-platform environment (macOS, Windows, Linux) using C/C++ for development.

Dante enabled video products are at the core of realizing our corporate vision to pioneer the future of AV. We already have products in the market and are developing more to meet the needs of our customers.

An ability to multi-task and context switch in a fast-paced, dynamic international business will be essential as well as a high degree of EQ to bring the best out of your team in an Agile environment.

Engineering leaders and managers at Audinate work closely with product teams to ensure the translation of business requirements and customer expectations into reality and an awareness of how commercial needs impact on product development will also be very helpful.

How we work

We have flexibility to work from home but also collaborate every week in-person at our office in BGC as well as working remotely alongside engineering and operations colleagues in Australia, the UK and Belgium.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of software engineers in the development of video technologies capable of delivering large systems involving multiple components, teams and locations
• Lead your team to develop the next set of software features and products for Dante AV products
• Co-ordinate with stakeholders throughout the organization and act as point of contact ensuring swift communications across geographies
• Contribute to our products by writing, debugging, testing and delivering production grade software.
• Oversee day to day operations/activities, scheduling & capacity management across releases.
• Interface with our local office teams to ensure your team are appropriately supported with infrastructure and facilities.
• Manage local procurement (equipment, office specific needs).
