Where You Will Work

Consolidated Aerospace Manufacturing (CAM) is the primary division of Stanley Black & Decker Aerospace. We are a leading innovator and strategic partner in the manufacturing of fasteners, fittings, and engineered products for the aerospace, defense, and industrial markets. CAM is currently comprised of nine subsidiaries across the United States split among three segments.

Position Description:

The Engineer Tech effectively assists Manufacturing Management with various productivity initiatives and special projects.

Responsibilities:

• Work together with floor personnel to gather samples and discover methods to improve tool quality and efficiency
• Support engineers
• Create work instructions where needed
• Manage and organize multiple priorities
• Identify opportunities for improvement and innovation
• Participate in kaizens and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Coursework towards Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Must be detail oriented
• Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office - Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint)
• Knowledge of manufacturing and engineering processes
• Experience with AutoCad is a plus
