Engineering Technical Recruiter

BHS Corrugated North America is seeking a Technical Recruiter to join our team. This is a hybrid position. 

The Job:
The Technical Recruiter will research, develop, and implement effective recruiting and staffing strategies for our service focused positions, to attract a diverse pool of qualified and capable talent for the organization. 
Responsibilities:

• Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment process.
• Collaborates with department managers to identify and draft detailed and accurate job descriptions and hiring criteria.
• Identifies and implements efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies based on the available role, industry standards, and the needs of the organization.
• Responsible for job posting and advertisement processes. Manage social media posting and communication related to recruitment.
• Screens applications and selects qualified candidates.
• Schedules interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.
• Assists with the interview process, attending and conducting interviews with managers, directors, and other stakeholders.
• Collaborates with the hiring manager and/or other human resource staff during the offer process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates, and other pertinent details.
• Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and company policies.
• Attends and participates in college job fairs and recruiting events.
• Establishes relationships with high schools and technical schools for apprenticeship recruitment. Assists apprentices with school registration and works with managers to establish training schedule.
• Works with others in Human Resources to facilitate onboarding process.
• Participation in other human resource projects/processes as needed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

The Experience:

1. 3+ years’ experience in recruiting highly technical positions in electrical & mechanical service, engineering, manufacturing.
2. Strong organization, attention to detail, cultural awareness, interpersonal, time management, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently with little supervision.
3. Professional customer service and phone communication skills.
4. Ability to work flexible hours to meet needs of candidates.
5. Ability to travel overnight up to 20% of the time to participate in job fairs and hiring events.
6. Experience with applicant tracking systems and social media recruitment strategies.
7. Must have working proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).

The Salary:

$65K - $70K plus bonus depending on experience and knowledge of the field.
