About the position:

We're looking for a Technical Specialist to join our Automation Electrical Engineering group! You will:

• Evaluate prototype parts, designs, process, or procedures.
• Work in an Engineering Lab environment to build prototype components/material handling vehicles, using hand and power tools.
• Set-up and operate/drive test equipment, vehicles, prototypes, fixtures or product for standard tests as well as new and unusual tests. Perform tests per defined and undefined procedures.
• Assemble, repair, and fabricate component assemblies, cables, and wire harnesses.
• Assemble material for new and non-routine tests.
• Conduct various tests or experiments which may require modifications in test set-ups or procedures as well as subjective judgments in measurement.
• Test products and equipment from verbal and written instructions, resolve routine questions and problems.
• Interface with manufacturing engineering, procurement, and planning to create and / or obtain components for Engineering Lab support.
• Review engineering documentation for accuracy in content and design.
• Record, organize, and present data. Occasionally will analyze and interpret data and make recommendations. May be required to process and report data following defined methods, including the use of spreadsheets, graphs, and formal written reports and oral presentations.
• Communicate results to other technicians, designers, engineers, managers, or manufacturing employees with an approach that supports and develops teamwork and the timely completion of projects.

About the schedule:

This position is 1st shift and will work 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

About you:

• 2+ year of experience.
• Networking experience including TCP/IP, UDP/IP, and CAN
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and diagrams.
• Proficiency with tools suited to area of specialization, such as wire harness and cable assembly tools, personal computer, meters, and hand tools.

About the total compensation package:

Wage- Ranges from $21.13-$33.94 based on years of experience.
