MILA International Language Academy (Jacksonville branch) is seeking for qualified and enthusiastic ESL teachers andsubstitute teachers. Available shifts (IN-PERSON): - Monday-Tuesday: 8:30 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. - Wednesday-Thursday: 08:30 a.m - 6:00 p.m - Monday to Thursday: 6:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m. Responsibilities: • Teach adult learners in a classroom setting • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans • Adhere to established teaching curriculum • Maintain positive relationships with students and staff • Document and share student grades and evaluations • Participate in teachers' meetings and professional developments Qualifications: • Candidates must have minimum of a bachelor's degree. If the degree is not directly related to the ESL field, candidates must have a TESL/TEFL certificate. • Candidates who have not yet received their TESL/TEFL certification, will be required to receive one from an accredited program within 90 days of hire. Stipend available. • Previous experience in teaching or other educational fields. • Strong classroom management skills. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong leadership qualities.
