Job Description

Higher Ground is seeking a dynamic Enrollment Community Manager for the North Texas region to join our Regional School Management team and play a vital role in fostering the growth of our Guidepost Montessori schools. The Enrollment Community Manager will excel at cultivating local partnerships, proactively engaging with families, and orchestrating outstanding events for prospective parents, all of which will substantially boost enrollment across our schools.

About Us: Our mission is to democratize Montessori education, making it more accessible to a broader audience and impacting more children and families with our transformative approach to independent learning. Our education model combines rigor and individualization, empowering developing children with the knowledge, skills, and character they need to thrive in life.

We are the world's largest and fastest-growing network of Montessori schools, having expanded to over 120+ schools in just seven years, with no signs of slowing down.

Role Overview: The Enrollment Community Manager will be a key member of a local team supporting approximately a dozen schools in the region. This cross-functional team, comprising operations, program support, and community marketing, collaborates closely to ensure the holistic success of each school. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Boosting Brand Awareness and Lead Generation: Using your resourcefulness, creativity, and hunger for growth, you will employ organic, community-based marketing strategies to raise brand awareness significantly in the region, resulting in a substantial increase in enrollment. This includes:
  • Planning, promoting, and executing outstanding local events, such as Open Houses, Tours, and community-based gatherings for prospective families.
  • Managing online reviews and cultivating strong, positive relationships with school leaders, guides, and parents to garner exceptional 5-star reviews reflecting outstanding parent and employee experiences.
  • Proactively building local community partnerships (e.g., Mommy groups, HOAs, Influencers, local businesses, extracurricular programs) aligned with the Guidepost Montessori brand to generate increased brand interest among young families.
  • Managing school websites and driving social media growth for individual school profiles through local community partnerships, showcasing each school uniquely online.
  • Developing Annual Marketing and Enrollment Plans: Collaborate with school leadership teams to create and execute annual marketing and enrollment plans tailored to each school's goals, working closely with central marketing to adapt campaigns for regional relevance.
  • Prioritizing Parent Experience: Consider providing a surprising and delightful parent experience as mission critical. Embrace the idea that building a thriving community is essential for a successful school.
  • Driving Excellence: Uphold a commitment to community and enrollment excellence with an eye toward a profitable and thriving school. We believe that when robust enrollment excellence aligns with successful student outcomes, passionate parent ambassadors, and engaged staff, profitability is the natural result. In this role, you will not only coach from afar but also actively participate and provide practical feedback to enhance enrollment skills, judgment, and problem-solving abilities. Additionally, you will empower school leaders to hold themselves and their peers accountable for maintaining a high standard of community excellence.

Qualifications: We'd love to hear from you if you possess:

  • A proactive, can-do attitude with a proven track record of achieving outcomes through community-based marketing tactics.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, sales, or community-building roles.
  • Deep experience with educators, parents, and children is desirable but not required
  • A willingness to be hands-on, actively engaging with schools and community members.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including proficiency in tools like Excel, PowerBI, and Salesforce.
  • The ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and see projects through from start to finish.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a knack for clarity and brevity.
  • A passion or desire to re-imagine education

About the Role:

  • Approximately 40% of your time will be spent at a local school or traveling to a school in your region, 30% on event planning and execution, and 30% will be spent on building the organic growth levers to drive the schools: generating reviews, referrals, and leveraging social media for growth.

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary.
  • Health, dental, and vision insurance.
  • Paid time off and paid holidays.
  • 100% tuition discount for two children at any school within our network.
  • Career growth and promotion opportunities, supported by a leadership team committed to your success.

We will not discriminate on the basis of age, sex, race, color, creed, religion, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, national origin, alienage or citizenship, disability, marital status, military or veteran status, or any other legally recognized protected basis under applicable federal, state or local laws, regulations or ordinances.
