ENT Finance Business Partner
Job Description
Reporting to the VP Finance for Global ENT the role will assist in providing strategic business partnerships to the ENT Global Commercial team. The Finance Business Partner will work directly with commercial, marketing and medical education teams, develop standardized and custom reports, track key sales and profitability metrics, and participate in cross functional projects. They will directly support the ENT Global Commercial team with accurate and meaningful reporting and data analysis.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the VP Finance in providing strategic business partnerships to the commercial, marketing and medical education teams. Provide monthly P&Ls, explain variances and provide proactive expense management. Demonstrate/create true "business-partnering" through sound financial analysis, routine guidance, and collaboration, as well as other ad-hoc/value-add analysis.
- Directly assist the VP Finance in managing spend against budgets and forecasts and provide monthly expense reporting and quarterly forecasting. Ensure variances to forecast are thoroughly explained and opportunities and risks are identified.
- Provide ad-hoc analysis and financial support (modeling, dashboard creation, variance analysis). Assist with the preparation of routine executive presentations (monthly review meetings with CFO, Quarterly Business Reviews, QBR and various Strategy presentations).
- Through close collaboration with the Product Managers/Marketing Directors, provide robust and accurate commercial financial inputs for New Product Development process and future acquisitions to ensure the launch of profitable products.
- Provide month-end support (journal entries, cost center support, various executive reporting/presentations, etc.), including key account reconciliations and routine expense reporting.
- Demonstrate high standards of ethics and compliance, adhering to policies & procedures and compliance protocols. Maintain strong internal controls within day/day processes to ensure a sound control environment/SOX compliance.

Education:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related fields required.
- CPA or MBA preferred
Experience:
- 5 years' experience in Accounting or Finance with increasing levels of responsibility.
- Experience in the Healthcare industry, preferably medical equipment/devices is preferred
- Experience partnering with Sales and/or Marketing teams a plus
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills are required. (Advanced Formulas including VLOOKUP and sumif, pivots).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, with Microsoft Access a plus.
- Experience of accounting matters, especially with knowledge of profit and loss accounts and their impact on balance sheet, cash flow statements.
- Experience with SAP, Business Objects, and HFM systems highly desirable but not required.
- Ability to co-ordinate and manage simultaneous data analysis requests of varying size and scope. Must possess a strong work ethic and ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities and goals with firm deadlines
