Position Summary

The Enterprise Account Executive at Effectual is responsible for creating and executing a strategy to sell managed services and professional services to the Enterprise MarketPlace.. The Enterprise Account Executive is involved with the sales strategy, solution assessment, RFP’s and account management for Effectual. 

What makes a successful Enterprise Account Executive?

Successful Enterprise Account Executives apply a strong understanding of Enterprise Sales and contractual concepts to a full range of high-end IT service engagements including software development, hosting/cloud service offerings, and software license/maintenance relationships. Enterprise Account Executives work closely with the Delivery team(s) to ensure each customer becomes a willing reference, and that funds are tracked, key deliverables are timely and other contractual obligations are met and documented. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Sell AWS and the entire Effectual Services Portfolio of Professional and Managed Cloud Services.
  • Maintain relationships with prospective and existing customers
  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for assigned target market to achieve quarterly and annual sales quota set forth by the company
  • Secure and attend meetings with prospective customers to gain information pertaining to their business needs and current environment, develop sales messaging and conduct client presentations to C-level executives, qualify opportunities
  • Work with the Solution Architect team to develop Compelling and Competitive Proposals and SOW’s.
  • Stay up to date with new product knowledge, technology, services, and industry developments

Essential Skills and Experience

  • Minimum 7 - 10 years of industry experience or technology sales the Enterprise Customer Base.
  • Experience with solution sales cycles with various product offerings required
  • Conduct discovery/needs analysis with prospective customers and to develop a successful action plan
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills in both written and verbal communications, poised in communicating with customers, partners, consultants, and internal team members
  • Exceptional presentation skills before large and small groups
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proven self-starter in addition to a team player
  • Proven track record of exceeding quarterly and yearly sales goals
  • Be able to leverage previous Enterprise and Partner Community Relationships.
