Job Description

As an Enterprise AE on HPOD, this teammate will be responsible for closing platform revenue across the GroupM holding company, focused specifically on T1 agencies, Mediacom, Essence, Wavemaker, Mindshare, and Neo. The Enterprise AE will serve as a dedicated platform seller, leading platform demos, RFI submissions, contract negotiations, client-direct meetings where applicable, and implementation/hand-off with ECS. The Enterprise AE will have their own book of business focused on priority platform accounts across the holding company, but will also be responsible for picking up warm accounts from HPOD AEs when media revenue is unviable. The Enterprise AE will be managing the longer sales cycle with a differentiated goal structure to ensure HPOD AEs are zeroed-in on in-quarter TVM, TVM+, and TVM Pro revenue. 

Requirements: 

    • 2+ years of enterprise sales experience with proven close record
    • Experience at comparable organizations, i.e. Amobee, Adobe, Samsung, TradeDesk, iSpot, D+M, etc.
    • Preferred: Relationships at GroupM or experience servicing agency holding companies
    • Technical experience in data strategy, analytics, and/or measurement/adops
    • Attitude requirements: go-getter personality with desire to upskill rapidly and often within product, data science, marketing science disciplines, to sell effectively to clients; positive seller with clear understanding/experience with 6-12m sales cycles; collaborative teammate who can support larger pod on enterprise deals to impact overall close rate. 

SALES APPROACH:

  • Never take off your client’s shoes.  Intimately know how every one of our prospective and current clients operates, step into their lexicon and always frame what we do by solving their specific problem. Be solutions focused.
  • Be your client’s favorite. Adding a lot of value to our clients via our solutions is table stakes, that isn’t enough to be great. If we are not our client’s favorite people to hang around with, we aren’t making the sales experience fun enough. Build deep, personal and authentic relationships with our clients and always make sure they have more fun with you than anyone else.
  • Never leave a meeting with unanswered questions. Be the person who can answer any question in the room. Since we are a very technical company, that means you have to be as well. Proactively study and learn the technical intricacies of everything that we do. Go out of your way to learn this yourself and study up. No one will teach this to you but yourself at VideoAmp.
