What will I do?

The Enterprise Account Manager is a member of the Enterprise Sales Team that manages the relationship between Bluebird Network (BBN) and its prospective customers in expectation of identifying and closing new business opportunities. This position is responsible for qualifying leads and identifying customer needs that match the business product portfolio. The Enterprise Account Manager is responsible for the overall management and growth of designated customer accounts. This position requires a broad understanding of the Bluebird Network's capabilities, customers, relationships, and technologies. This position requires a strong customer focus, strong organizational, project and matrix management skills, and the ability to complete tasks in multi-disciplinary team environment.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Identify, prospect, and prequalify new account opportunities
  • Maintain a high level of sales activity including prospecting, proposal presentation, negotiation and post-sales services
  • Negotiate the terms of various service agreements and close sales that meet or exceed BBN's defined sales objectives
  • Gather market and customer information to gain a clear understanding of customers' business needs and requirements
  • Represent and promote BBN at various industry events and trade shows
  • Provide input to BBN's Service Delivery Coordinator to ensure proper documentation and timely completion of orders for customers
  • Provide support for customer appreciation events and other marketing events
  • Other tasks as may be needed from time to time

Requirements

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor's Degree in marketing or business
  • Minimum of 3 years outside B2B sales experience, telecommunications industry sales experience a plus
  • Experienced in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Successful cold calling and lead generation a must
  • Ability to develop sales strategies to meet goals
  • Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple projects
  • Ability to interact with customers and respond to expectations
  • Leadership ability
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel as needed
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Software
