As an enterprise agile coach in Corporate Technology, your primary responsibility is to drive organizational agility and enable successful agile transformations at the team of teams and leadership altitudes. This role will partner closely with senior-level leadership to develop and execute strategies that foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and innovation.
Your expertise will be instrumental in coaching and mentoring leaders across the organization, empowering them to embrace agile methodologies and practices. You will facilitate workshops, trainings, and coaching sessions to enhance their understanding of agile concepts and equip them with the tools needed to lead agile teams effectively. Through your guidance, teams will gain a comprehensive view of the agile ecosystem and learn how to optimize processes, remove impediments, and deliver value-driven outcomes. Ultimately, your role as an enterprise agile coach will contribute to the organization's ability to adapt to change rapidly, foster innovation, and achieve sustainable growth in an increasingly competitive market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage end-to-end business agility transformation at an enterprise scale, working with teams across the organization to build and support an agile ecosystem.
- Act as a coach for teams, facilitating the adoption and advancement of agile ways of working at the team of teams and value stream level.
- Advocate and facilitate a culture shift within the organization, promoting an agile mindset and behaviors and ensuring these principles are deeply ingrained in our everyday work.
- Develop learning paths and provide individual coaching to team members to enhance their agile practices and mindset.
- Identify and address any systemic issues that may impede agile practices within the organization.
- Foster a continuous improvement environment, encouraging teams to inspect and adapt their practices to increase effectiveness.
Required Skills/Experience:
- Experience in a strategic agile coaching role and practices for at least five years that was diligently applying agile principles, practices, and theory.
- Deep lean/agile skills, including at least 2 years in one or more of the agile roles, Scrum of Scrums Scrum Master, Release/Solution Train Engineer, or Enterprise Agile Coach.
- Understanding of major agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, LeSS, or Scrum @ Scale) and 3 or more years' experience in at least 1 framework
- Excellent skills in Facilitation, Training, Mentoring, and Professional Coaching
- Strong social and emotional intelligence.
- Good skills and knowledge of lean, servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continual improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency.
- Knowledge of various well-documented patterns and techniques (example: scrum, Kanban, XP, DevOps, story mapping, example mapping, transformation plans, operating models, scaled agile frameworks).
Preferred Skills/Experience (Any of these is a plus):
- Knowledge of professional coaching approaches such as ORSC, Co-Active, etc.
- Agile Coaching Certification (ICE-AC, CEC, CTC) or Professional Coaching Certification (ICF-ACC, ICF-PCC, or ICF-MCC)
