Enterprise Analytics Senior Lead (Mars Wrigley NA)

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Analytics Senior Lead to join our dynamic team. In this position, you will partner with a team of internal and external analytics business translators and data scientists and be instrumental in shaping our analytics strategy by function, defining our analytics roadmap, driving effective collaboration between business functions and analytics teams, and optimizing our enterprise analytics capabilities.

What are we looking for?

• 10+ years of experience in business analytics and digital transformation within a data-intensive organization.
• Proven leadership working in product-line oriented team structure that includes both internal and external resources.
• In-depth knowledge of business analytics concepts, methodologies, and tools, with a track record of driving successful analytics initiatives.
• Strong understanding of CPG industry dynamics, demand (sales/marketing) and consumer insights, and supply functions.
• Proficiency in data analysis, visualization, and reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms.
• Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a demonstrated ability to align analytics initiatives with organizational objectives.
• Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence senior executives.
• Experience in agile project management methodologies and familiarity with advanced analytics techniques (e.g., machine learning, predictive modeling) is advantageous.
• Strong business acumen and the ability to translate complex data insights into actionable business recommendations.

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Collaborate with business leaders, digital technologies business partners/COEs, and other stakeholders to understand their strategic objectives, challenges, and data requirements.
• Develop strong relationships with business partners, business translators and senior executives, acting as a trusted advisor on business transformation and analytics matters.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for business functions, interacting with business translators and product owners to gather and understand product requests.
• Work closely with the analytics team to translate business requirements into actionable agile projects and solutions, ensuring effective communication and alignment.
• Facilitate productive collaboration between business functions, analytics teams, and platform/support teams to ensure smooth transitions and successful solution implementations.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization and prevent redundancies within our business intelligence layers, ensuring efficient utilization of resources.
• Monitor project timelines, milestones, and deliverables, ensuring regular follow ups with business stakeholders to provide updates, gather feedback, and address any concerns or escalations.
• Manage functional based analytics governance meetings bringing together product owners, business functional leaders, and business/technology analytics teams to review business cases and drive decision making.
• Lead intake, evaluation, prioritization of analytics backlog to ensure the products produced deliver value for the business.
• Partner with the Analytics Product Manager to maximize resource pool utilization to ensure there is an optimal level of throughput.
• Champion a strong data-driven culture, promoting the value of business analytics, and enhancing data literacy across the organization.
• Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in business transformation and effective communication strategies.
• Continuously evaluate and enhance communication processes, methodologies, and tools to foster efficient collaboration and understanding between technical experts and business translators.
