Enterprise Applications Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced distributed desktop specialist to join a growing team specializing in Third-Party application administration and management. This role will help maintain a broad range of on-premise and Cloud applications and collaborate with a number of internal teams like Technology Engineering and Operations to preserve and grow our application portfolio. 

As an Enterprise Applications Engineer, you will need to understand the technical details of the library of products we offer, and be able to make pointed suggestions on how we adapt and evolve our offering to serve more individuals across the firm. You will be involved in the entire application lifecycle, from procurement to cybersecurity review, to production release and support. 

Additional responsibilities of this role will include: 

• Onboarding, maintaining, upgrading, and operating a growing portfolio of third-party distributed applications across a global computing landscape
• Implementing new enterprise features, fixing bugs, and timing maintenance tasks
• Communicating daily with our trading desks and international offices to keep our systems efficient and effective
• Writing reports on troubleshooting progress with succinct summaries, alongside in-depth analysis 
• Relaying the needs of the internal end-users to Vendor contacts
• Integrating third party vendor products, finding and resolving issues along the way
• Planning and executing deployments and improving systems where possible

As our team continues to grow, so will the responsibilities of this role. You’ll have the potential to expand your expertise into other enterprise applications and products such as (but not limited to) Tableau, Workday, Salesforce, and Atlassian applications for both on-prem and cloud deployments.

• 3-5 years of experience in a technical role, preferably within a financial institution
• Extensive Third-Party application management experience in a global environment
• Can prioritize tasks effectively and manage projects from ideas to execution
• Excellent interpersonal skills; communicates clearly with colleagues and external partners
• Self-starter with an eye for continuous improvement; able to meet complex problems with innovative solutions
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Able to turn ideas into actions; can illustrate complex ideas to a variety of audiences
• Empathetic and understanding; you strive to understand your users and their workflows to identify potential system gaps
• Ability to self manage large technical projects and programs
• Fluency in English required
