Your future duties and responsibilities:

As an Enterprise Architect in the emerging technology practice you will research and implement meaningful new technologies and solutions then work with other CGI architects, technologists, and Clients to formulate all aspects of solution design, development, and delivery. You will be accountable for and apply proven expertise of composability, application modernization, cloud architecture, modern data architecture, intelligent automation, and innovation which will drive Client satisfaction.

Your expertise in architectural frameworks, application design / development, cloud and cloud-native offerings, security, Agile, continuous deployment, automated testing, and DevOps will be instrumental in enabling our Clients to achieve their objectives. You will bring expertise and lessons-learned from leading successful custom development of open source-based applications in the cloud.

You will mentor other architects and collaborate on creating and executing design patterns for new technologies. You will also:• Work with stakeholders (leadership and subject matter experts) to build holistic views of the solution strategy.• Ensure that the enterprise and the architecture team are aligned. • Link business mission, strategy, and processes of the organization to its IT strategy.• Provide appropriate documentation to demonstrate how current and future needs of an organization will be met in an efficient, sustainable, agile, and composable manner. • Host artifacts in an architecture repository

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

Ability to understand the overarching connections among requirements, business processes, activities, system functions, and interfaces with partner systems.• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.• Ability to work well with others and function in a high-performance team environment• Experience creating data models (conceptual, logical, and physical data models) and/or data modeling tools• 8+ years' experience across multiple architecture domains (e.g., business architecture, solutions architecture, application architecture, cloud architecture, infrastructure architecture)• Experience in working closely with Customer's technical leads, engineering teams and architecture stakeholders for technical issues and architecture framework capabilities for use by other development teams• Certifications with at least one cloud service provider• Strong technical presentation skills with the ability to convey complex concepts in an easy to understand way• Advanced knowledge and experience in one or more current programming languages (e.g. C, C#, Java, JavaScript, Python, Rust, Go)• Expertise in service-oriented architecture, web services, and APIs • Experience with container orchestration and service mesh architecture• Experience establishing legacy modernization and migration roadmaps for large scale applications• Experience with event-driven applications using queues, service bus, and other related patterns• Experience implementing solution(s) that leverage Artificial Intelligence or Machine Learning• Experience estimating large scale projects• Has knowledge of the Agile methodology and has

Est. Salary Range (Colorado Only): $152k-205k
