Enterprise Architect

MetroStar Systems is looking for an Enterprise Architect that will integrate with cross-functional teams specializing in architecture development, solutions, and data analysis, informing the architecture and implementation of business processes, programs, plans and guidance for DOD tactical systems and support multiple portfolios and the integration with the Mission Partner Environment (MPE)

You'll love our opportunity if you have: (This is the stuff you MUST have to be a fit)

• 7+ years of experience in a Data Architecture role
• knowledge/experience in Enterprise Architecture experience modeling in DoDAF (DoD Architecture Framework) and clear understanding of JADC2
• an understanding of the US Marine Corps
• a bachelor’s degree in engineering, science, or a technical discipline
• an active DoD Top Secret clearance

What your day will look like:

• You'll work with likeminded team members to do Data Architecture and Governance
• You'll also provide a Data Strategy to the Marine Corps
• You'll provide day-to-day support of Data Sovereignty.
• Produce clear, logical, and concise DoD-level solutions to inform stakeholder decisions.
• Research and analyze network and data architecture to identify capability gaps, overlaps, and shortfalls across multiple schemas and thresholds.
• Advise on and recommend emerging technology transition strategies to drive from the current technology (As-Is) environment to the development of the future (To-Be) architectures.
• Leverage customer-enabled or industry best practice analytic methodologies to amass and assess data points supporting future investment decision making.
• Provide administrative or project management support including technical reports, presentations, briefings, and white papers as requested.
• Support working group level integration or engagement activities within DoD, the Services, the Intelligence Community, the Combatant Commands, and Mission Partners.
