Enterprise Architect

Introduction
As an IBM Enterprise Architect you directly help clients transform their business  and solve complex problems. You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions using your knowledge of IBM platforms.  You are a technical leader serving as a liaison among business partners technical resources and project stakeholders.

Your Role and Responsibilities
Who you are: As an Application Architect in IBM Consulting you’ll serve as a leader in defining innovative solutions for clients. You’ll be the advocate for the client while guiding the technical team to implementation. You’ll collaborate with client stakeholders and internal partners to understand the business problem and requirements constraints of the system and concerns of the various stakeholders to systematically build and transform detailed solutions (architectures) for the client. This will be a Sell and Deliver role where you will own the cloud engagement end to end from the Pre Sales stage to Delivery and position yourself as the owner of the Hybrid Cloud architecture within your team serving as a liaison among business partners technical resources and project stakeholders.
What you’ll do:

• Create a scalable modular architecture
• Own Technical Design for Custom Development Modernization and Cloud Migration engagements
• Create cloud migration strategies and define delivery architecture and migration plans
• Analyze Complex application landscapes anticipate potential problems and future trends assess opportunities and potential solutions with associated impacts and risks.
• Architect implement and deploy DevOps based end to end applications
• Solution design and implementation using native cloud services Low Code Platforms
• Develop reference architectures patterns and guidelines to ensure consistency and efficiency across on premise and cloud-based applications.
• Assess client environments provide advisory and implementation of recommendations based on best practices
• Serve as a subject matter expert in cloud and integration technologies staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies.
• Provide thought leadership and mentorship to technical teams promoting best practices in architecture and design.
• Demonstrate leadership by leading multi-functional teams for a bid owning architectural point of view and influence people and organization including executives when issues are complex/difficult and require considerable diplomacy.
• You will be accountable for Projects or Programs Involving multi- Functional Country-Wide Teams.
• Responsible For Overall Program Success. Success measures are Customer Satisfaction Personal and Team Utilization and Business Unit Targets of Signings Revenue and Gross Profit
• For Pre-sales activity you will be accountable for solutioning and proposal building: Lead the team and deliver the winning proposal to customer following IBM Internal solutioning and approval processes.
