Enterprise Architect

Purpose:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Enterprise Architect to join our team. As an Enterprise Architect, you will play a pivotal role in leading the design, development, and implementation of scalable and robust enterprise solutions to meet the strategic objectives of our organization. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders across various departments to understand business requirements and translate them into effective architectural designs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, business acumen and excellent communication skills.

What you will do:

• Develop a process for designing and governing end-to-end business solutions enabled by technology
• Deploy and administer an Enterprise Architecture tool for standardizing the captured knowledge of technology solutions
• Baseline existing solution models supporting core business processes
• Establish a Center of Practice for engaging IT technical leads across the company to mature architecture practices
• Develop a set of Enterprise Architecture metrics for reporting health and progress of the EA function
• Lead the Joint Architecture Management process for technology adoption
• Engage in key initiatives to propose and apply architecture patterns in the development of strategic solutions
• Maintain and report on EA metrics to IT leaders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, project managers, business analysts, security analysts, and system administrators to ensure alignment between business goals and technical solutions
• Evaluate emerging technologies, tools, and frameworks to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement within the enterprise architecture.
• Conduct roadmap planning sessions with key thought leaders as required
• Ensure compliance with architectural standards, policies, and guidelines while promoting consistency and reusability across the enterprise.
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation of architectural designs, including diagrams, technical specifications, and implementation plans.
• Identify potential risks and challenges associated with proposed architectural solutions and develop mitigation strategies to address them

What you bring:

• Familiarity with EA Tools – LeanIX preferred
• Broad understanding of functional capabilities of retail and manufacturing industries preferred
• Modeling and diagraming skills to promote collaboration and communications with technical and business audiences
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and translate them into practical solutions.
• Excellent communication skills, including the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

What you need:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• MBA is a plus
• Proven experience (X years) as an Enterprise Solution Architect or a similar role in a large-scale enterprise environment.
• Expertise in architecting solutions across multiple technology stacks, including but not limited to web applications, mobile applications, APIs, databases, and middleware.
• Proven experience (3-5 years) as an Enterprise Architect or a similar role in a large-scale enterprise environment
