Enterprise Architect - Engage to Consume

Job Description:

We are excited to offer an opportunity to the Enterprise Architecture team for the end-to-end process of Engage to Consume at Mars Wrigley. Deliver omni-channel design for consumers at every touchpoint, driving brand penetration, conversion and value informed by data and insight. This process covers all automation helping the business including tools and process support for engaging, converting, and realizing value.

The Enterprise Architect - Engage to Consume will be at the heart of establishing and scaling the platforms and data which create and maintain lifelong relationships with consumers. The role works together with the process leader to review and align design approaches and to ensure the quality of solutions.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or equivalent experience.

• Technical background and experience in development and especially with commerce, content, and marketing platforms and their data and analytics.
• Large enterprise level B2C and B2B ECommerce applications and its ecosystems including CRM, CDP, Digital Marketing, MarTech, Loyalty, and/or Brand Architecture
• Mastery of scaling applications from threading implementations to infrastructure scaling and topology planning
• Microservices architecture design, delivery, and operations experience
• Ability to consult management and engineering teams, with technical advice regarding business analysis, project management, IT architecture, infrastructure, cloud development, and software architecture design

• Excellent analytical skills and the ability to see the connections between layers of business operations and technical services
• Leverage intelligent platforms to benefit from a more integrated ecosystem that can generate, curate, adapt content at scale
• Experience with developing and running applications in a public cloud environment, working with major relational database
• Experience designing, building and delivering solutions using DevOps and Continuous delivery principles
• Experience in developing APIs across diff frameworks and use of GraphQL

• Understanding of integration patterns, concepts, and best practices
• Familiarity with data integration systems (Broker, B2Bi, PI/PO, etc.).
• Proven ability to work effectively and produce consistent results with minimal supervision.
• Strong conceptual, analytical, problem-solving, decision making, troubleshooting and resolution skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

What will be your key responsibilities?

• Lead the architecture reviews of a given solution
• Provide expertise on application architecture, integration development initiatives, analyzing business requirements, and crafting appropriate, cost-effective, and logical solutions
• Participate in the implementation of the solutions from ideation to completion
• Supports the Product Owner with the identification and definition of enablers/work items to support the architectural runway of a given product/application.
• Drives operational efficiency and technical growth by mentoring PODs through documentation, workshops and other methods in the areas of software applications design, development, automation, CI/CD pipeline, and architecture.
• Design for performance and advise any necessary infrastructure changes
• Collaborates with Product Managers and Product Owners to decompose solution blueprints and designs into detailed technical requirements.
• Recommend necessary changes in the existing Digital commerce capability according to actual technology and market trends
• Coordinate with the web developers, e-commerce marketing team, and e-commerce analysts for the effective completion and working of the e-commerce application
• Mentor more junior engineers and promote Digital Commerce Capability in the technical community
• Collaborates with Environment Analysts to define and refine the environment strategy needed to support day-to-day development activities.
• Defines product/application specific coding standards and patterns to guide the implementation of new features and capabilities.
• Collaborates with Systems Analysts to decompose solution blueprints and designs into detailed technical requirements.
• Supports the planning and execution of functional and non-functional (e.g., performance, fail-over, etc.) testing activities.
• Supports release planning activities in conjunction with Product Owners and teams.
• Identifies technical dependencies across several product/application teams to support the implementation of new or enhanced functionality.
• Supervises systems and data analysis performed by Full Stack Engineers on products/applications to understand functional design requirements.
